Mike Killian

Mike Killian, has been providing home medical equipment for over 33 years and is currently the CEO of Specialized Medical Devices Inc. which has four locations in Alabama-Huntsville, Decatur, Birmingham, and Tuscaloosa. Specialized Medical Devices, in providing Clinical Respiratory Services which include Ventilators, Oxygen and PAP therapy has established a status of excellence which is validated with its long standing Accreditation by The Joint Commission (The same prestigious organization that sets the standards for our local hospitals). This experience along with a identified growing need for excellent senior in home companion aid inspired him to start Creative Caregivers.

Linda Killian

Linda Killian, was awarded a Bachelors of Science, licensed as a Social Worker in 1983. Her past professional experiences include Whitesburg Nursing Home, LakeShore Rehab Facility and Huntsville Hospital where she took away long lasting relationships, knowledge and most of all the experiences she had working and helping patients with their transition back home. For the past 16 years she has been the Vice President of Operations of Specialized Medical Devices where she gained valuable experience setting as well as monitoring policies for the continuity of care plans for clinical respiratory patients in the home.

She has maintained her social worker License and is active member of the ASHCSW (Alabama Society of Healthcare Social Workers).

Crimson Kennemer

Crimson Kennemer, became a Registered Respiratory Therapist in 1997. She has past professional experiences working in the hospital setting and home medical equipment fields caring for patients. She has been with Specialized Medical Devices for 14 years, most recently holding the position of Vice President of Business Development where she developed her experience blending the use of new technology and clinical programs as well as marketing and sales.

She has maintained her Respiratory Therapist licensed and is a member of the AARC (American Association of Respiratory Care) and NBRC (The National Board of Respiratory Care).

Chris Killian

Chris Killian brings over 18 years of experience in home care. As senior manager with Specialized Medical Devices (Clinical Home Respiratory provider, Accredited by Joint Commission), his responsibilities consisted of overseeing day to day operations for the Tuscaloosa and Birmingham markets. This experience has prepared him for his leadership role in Creative Caregivers of Tuscaloosa.
